SteamFrameHub is our new community website, here to bring you first-hand reviews, news and updates for all things Steam Frame.
Hey everyone, I’ve been quietly working away with some of our community members over the past couple of months to bring together this website. The aim here is that we’ve got a centralised platform away from Discord and the Subreddit where people can check in whenever they please for a curated list of news, features, reviews and community files.
Over time, we will be adding Game reviews, Accessory reviews, Features, free 3D Print files for you to download for all of your VR needs.
I’m also really pleased to announce that with help from the community, we are also launching Steam Frame Hub Verified. This is our personal sub-site for you to check game compatibility reports for all Steam Games on Steam Frame. By default, we’re automatically adding all Steam Frame ‘Great on Frame’ verified games and allow users to submit additional games and compatibility reports directly onto the site. This side of the project has been a long time in the making.
I will not hide the fact that the earliest front-end builds of Verified were assisted with AI tools, however, the back-end was entirely hand-built and is secure. We have been doing extensive testing and feature builds with the community and together have manually tweaked every element of the website to bring to you what it is today.
The main site/blog is not and never will include any AI tooled content. I just wanted to be completely transparent with you about the original V1.
I’ve personally paid for this site with my own money, it’s taken a lot of time to bring this to you as I truly believe this can be a great additional resource for the community that isn’t reliant on social platforms to share the latest and greatest in the wild world of VR. Over time, I may introduce ads to the main site to help pay for hosting as the cost is not insignificant.
